Arcam AVA25 Dolby Atmos and DTS X AV Amplifier

Arcam AVA25 Dolby Atmos & DTS:X AV Amplifier

Experience powerful, detailed home cinema audio with the Arcam AVA25 AV Amplifier, engineered for enthusiasts who want exceptional performance from both movies and music. Combining a high-performance Class AB amplifier with advanced surround processing, flexible speaker configurations and comprehensive 8K connectivity, the AVA25 provides a sophisticated foundation for a premium home cinema system.

Powerful amplification for larger home cinema spaces

The AVA25 delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms through its Class AB amplification, providing the authority and control needed for medium-sized and larger rooms. Switch to two-channel stereo playback and the output increases to 125 watts per channel, making the AVA25 equally capable when listening to high-quality music.

With nine amplified channels, you can configure the system around your room and preferred surround layout. Supported arrangements include 5.1.4 and 7.1.2 Dolby Atmos, while alternative configurations can be used for bi-amping or powering speakers in another zone.

Up to 16 channels of immersive processing

The AVA25 is designed to grow alongside your home cinema system. Its processing capability extends to 16 channels, allowing additional external power amplifiers to be introduced as your system develops.

With the appropriate amplification, the AVA25 can process immersive configurations up to 9.1.6, making it suitable for highly advanced home cinema installations. Matching Arcam power amplifiers can be used to maintain consistent performance throughout the system.

Dirac Live room optimisation

The acoustics of your room can have a significant effect on the way your home cinema sounds. Dirac Live Room Correction helps optimise the AVA25 by analysing the acoustic response of your listening environment.

Multiple measurements are taken using a microphone and dedicated software, allowing the system to create a tailored correction profile for your room. For additional optimisation, optional Dirac Live Bass Control and Dirac Live Active Room Treatment upgrades can be purchased separately.

Extensive 3D surround sound support

The AVA25 gives you access to a broad selection of immersive audio technologies. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X create a three-dimensional soundstage with audio positioned around and above the listener, while Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization and DTS Virtual:X can simulate height effects where additional speakers aren't practical.

It also supports IMAX Enhanced and Auro-3D, giving home cinema enthusiasts greater flexibility when selecting their preferred surround format.

Advanced HDMI 2.1a connectivity

Connect the latest games consoles, Blu-ray players, streaming devices and 8K televisions using the AVA25's seven HDMI inputs and three HDMI outputs.

Its HDMI 2.1a platform supports 8K pass-through, while compatibility with HDR10, HDR10+, HDR10+ Gaming, HLG and Dolby Vision helps deliver enhanced picture quality from compatible sources.

For gaming, support for 4K/120Hz, VRR and ALLM is designed to provide smoother motion, reduced latency and a more responsive gaming experience. HDMI eARC also allows compatible televisions to send high-quality audio back to the amplifier.

Wireless music and network streaming

The AVA25 is equally suited to music playback, with built-in Wi-Fi and a comprehensive selection of wireless streaming technologies. Apple AirPlay 2 and Google Cast make it simple to stream music from compatible devices.

Direct integration with Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Qobuz Connect allows you to use the native apps from these services rather than relying solely on the amplifier's interface. The Arcam Radia app also provides access to compatible streaming services, Internet radio and podcasts, while UPnP support allows music stored on your network to be played through the amplifier.

Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast

For convenient wireless listening, the AVA25 features Bluetooth 5.4 with Snapdragon Sound and Auracast. Compatible devices can stream high-quality audio wirelessly, while Auracast expands Bluetooth possibilities by allowing compatible headphones and speakers to connect to supported broadcasts.

Designed for simple, premium operation

The AVA25 combines its advanced technology with an easy-to-use control system. A supplied Bluetooth remote control means commands can be made without pointing directly at the amplifier, making everyday operation more convenient.

A large, high-resolution colour display provides clear information about playback, sources and system settings, while the clean front panel keeps physical controls to a minimum.

Premium Arcam Radia styling

The AVA25 forms part of Arcam's distinctive Radia range, combining understated styling with premium materials. Its aluminium construction, integrated volume control and subtle front-panel illumination give the amplifier a refined appearance that works naturally within a modern home cinema or hi-fi system.

Whether you're building a dedicated cinema room or upgrading a high-end living-room entertainment system, the Arcam AVA25 Dolby Atmos and DTS:X AV Amplifier combines powerful amplification, extensive surround processing and modern connectivity in one highly capable package.
